500 Fan Giveaway #1 : So You Wanna Be A Hooker...

This contest is now closed, thank you!

Welcome to Day 1 of my HUGE 500 FAN GIVEAWAY!  I'm so excited to have some of my very favorite vendors included in this one.  I thought it only appropriate, as a crocheter, to have a crochet inspired portion of my giveaway extravaganza!  Below you will find all the things you need to get started on a project of your own.  Take a minute to look through everyones shops.  The talent will astound you!

Inner Hooker: Store/Facebook
Inner Hooker is F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!  She writes the best patterns, so easy to follow and very beginner friendly.  She's got a wonderful facebook page and is very interactive with her fans.  Have a question?  She will gladly help you out, and if you post on her page you'll get advice from a bunch of other talented ladies as well :)  We're a happy hookin' community!

3 patterns of your choice!

Fyrestorm Creations: Store/Facebook
Fyrestorm Creations is my go-to place for stitch makers.  Sure you can buy some cheap ones from Michael's (and I have) but they are BORING and get lost soooo easily.  She can do any of her designs with claw closures for crochet or enclosed for knitting.  While you're browsing her shop, be sure to check out her wine glass charms, bottle cap necklaces and awesome bracelets as well!
1 set of stitch markers (knit or crochet), you chose the style!

Pumpkin Creek Hats: Store/Facebook
Pumpkin Creek Hats (aka Heartstrings by Dee) constantly amazes me with the things she pulls off her wheel.  Hand dyed and spun, her thick and thin yarn is a dream to work with.  Those huge puffs make for the softest little baby hats, like little clouds for their heads lol.  I recently acquired some of her single ply yarn as well and it is just as fabulous!!  You cannot go wrong with something from her shop.

Peace~100 yards~6.7 oz~Merino thick and thin yarn

Hurricane Hooks: Store
Hurricane hooks is owned by a very talented man named David, who hails from my own home state of Ohio!  I stumbled upon him last fall on Etsy and practically cleared him out of his stock of beautifully hand crafted wooden crochet hooks.  I think I have 3 or 4 so far...seriously I've lost track...and hope to someday have an entire collection.  I love the feel of a wooden hook, its warms to your hand and is a bit more pliable than a standard aluminum hook.

1 Hand Carved Wooden Crochet Hook (may vary from the one pictured)

And of course, it wouldn't be a complete package without something from me so, I'm throwing in one of these awesome crochet hook cases!  You can chose the 2 colors you want and I'll chose a matching button for the closure.  I use my daily and as you can see you can fit a LOT of hooks in this bad boy!  Please excuse the bad photos, my good ones have wondered off my laptop when I wasn't looking ;) (hooks not included)

HOW TO ENTER:

There will be four chances to enter. Please post a separate comment for each entry. Please only leave a comment for each entry, no other comments will count towards the giveaway. (this makes it easier on me when counting the entry and the winner in the end.)

All entries will be monitored and checked when the winner is chosen.

Entry 1 (required): Visit each vendor's Facebook page and "like" them. Take a peak around the pages/shops and let them know that I sent you!  Don't rush through this step, if you do Facebook may think you are a spammer and block your messages!

Once you are all done, come back here let me you did this and tell me one super cool thing you found from each one (just one comment for all of this!)  This will count as your first entry. (Please put your email and name in the entry so it's easier for me to find you if you win!)

Entry 2 (required): Like Warm Fuzzies by Cortney on Facebook

Entry 3 (bonus):  Follow Warm Fuzzies by Cortney's blog

Entry 4 (bonus)Change your Facebook status to let everyone know about this awesome giveaway!  Make sure to tag my shop with @Warm Fuzzies by Cortney in the status so it will show up on my page.  After doing so, come back here and leave a comment letting me know you did.  Easy peasy.

Technical stuff you need to know:
  • Giveaway #1 starts June 18 and ends June 24th at midnight EST
  • Winner will be chosen by random.org and posted on the blog on June 25th
  • Winner must claim their prize by June 28th or another winner will be chosen

Good luck to everyone!!!

  21. At Inner Hooker, which I've been a fan of for a while, I am in LOVE with the flower and lion patterns.

Over at Fyrestorm I can tell that they have waaaay more patience and talent than I do when it comes to beadwork ;) I think the pregnant belly stitch markers are ADORABLE.

I love Pumpkin Creek's Red Pink and White Double Fluff hat. It's adorable and makes me wish I had a girl.
